About Erin Fajen
Founder & CEO
For 20 years and counting, I have facilitated learning experiences for managers and leaders who share my passion for developing others. While traveling extensively for the first half of my career, I have observed a vast world of behavior styles people use as they relate to one another in the workplace. These experiences inspired me to dedicate my career to developing leaders in my community and beyond to bring out the best in each other. Along the way I have grown to appreciate the common workplace cultural influences that accelerate – or stall out – even the most well-meaning learning initiatives. Now I work with organizations to leverage the power of culture to build better workplaces.
From start-ups to international scientific institutes, I’ve consulted with a wide range of organizations from various industries, creating comprehensive leadership development programs and change management strategies. Named by Training Magazine as a Top Young Trainer to Watch, I am a regular speaker on leadership development for organizations such as Madam President Camp, Association for Talent Development, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
A learning and development expert, I have worked in every aspect of designing and delivering effective learning programs including instructional design, training delivery, measurement design, program management, coaching, change management, event management, and speaking engagements.
I was an early member of the Association for Talent Development in Kansas City and was honored to receive Excellence in Practice Awards for my work in Coaching and Mentoring as well as Career Development.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing & International Business from Kansas State University. From there, I went on to complete my Master of Education degree at Clemson University with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Human Performance Improvement. Even well into a rewarding career, I continue to gain knowledge through my own entrepreneurial journey, independent study, and enthusiasm for travel. A Kansas City native – I am a well-rounded product of having studied, worked, or lived in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
I live in the greater Kansas City area and can be found enjoying the park with my family, simplifying our home, or planning a trip to see the ocean on my birthday.
